I build mobile apps. Next, ones that get you.

At Intuit, I built much of the new QuickBooks Mobile home page, used by millions. Engagement doubled. Before that, I shipped the app 200+ Lululemon stores use to stay in touch with guests. Next: full-stack, AI-first, and leading projects.

Modular iOS Media Architecture

An image feed app with paginated loading, image comments, and an offline cache. I use it to practice modular, test-driven iOS design, and recently migrated it to Swift 6 with strict concurrency.

  • Migrated to Swift 6 with strict concurrency set to complete, replaced Combine with async/await across feed, image, comments, and pagination loading, and made view protocols MainActor-isolated.
  • Separate modules for core feed logic, API, iOS UI, and app composition, each with its own tests: unit, snapshot, API end-to-end, cache integration, and UI acceptance tests, running in CI.
  • Thread-safe Core Data and in-memory caching with prefetching and request cancellation; profiled scrolling in Instruments and moved image decoding off the main thread to remove scroll hitches.
  • Requirements written as user stories and use cases, covering happy and sad paths, in the README.
  • Swift 6
  • Swift Concurrency
  • UIKit
  • Core Data
  • XCTest
  • Snapshot tests

Firefox for iOS

A merged pull request to Mozilla’s Firefox for iOS, part of moving screens onto the app’s shared typography system.

  • Updated the wallpaper selector to use the FXFontStyles design-system fonts instead of the older DefaultDynamicFontHelper, with before/after screenshots for review.
  • Worked through Mozilla’s ticket, contribution, and code review process in a large production Swift codebase.

Building with AI. How I work with models, day to day.

  1. 01

    Agents type. I think.

Claude Code and Cursor run through my whole loop — planning, writing, refactors, tests, review — and I orchestrate several agents in parallel on bigger changes.

  2. 02

    No code I can’t explain.

If an agent writes something I don’t understand, it doesn’t ship. The architecture calls, and the reasoning behind them, stay with me.

  3. 03

    Automating the pager.

At Intuit I built AI workflows that summarize alerts and surface critical user reviews, giving on-call engineers back ~2 hours a week.

  4. 04

    Hand-written, on purpose.

ImageFeedApp’s Swift 6 migration was all me — a side project to keep my concurrency and clean-architecture fundamentals sharp, so I can judge what agents write.

Experience. Where I’ve shipped iOS, and what I studied in between.
